I do not require any names or details but I would to know how many staff from Cheshire fire and rescue service who have been required to attend a informal attendance meeting with HR and line manager for hitting the triggers of illnesses as per your procedures/policy have then had to progress to a discipline (stage 1) procedure for attendance.
I would also like an exact definition for the triggers of illness that would be hit for such a meeting to take place as per your policy.
I would like the time frame of the last three years please and for operational staff only please.

3 individuals over the last 3 years have been required to attend an informal attendance meeting with HR and line manager for hitting the triggers of illness as per your procedures/policy have then had to progress to a discipline (stage 1) procedure for attendance.
I would also like an exact definition for the triggers of illness that would be hit for such a meeting to take place as per your policy.
The attendance review points for formal action for short term persistent absence are:
6 days in a rolling 12 month period;
3 spells or more in a rolling 12 month period;
A pattern of absences is identified; and/or
Where the length of an absence is excessive considering the reason
