FOI Request 2130

Subject: Attendance Management

Status: Complete

Date received: March 2025

Question Asked:

I do not require any names or details but I would to know how many staff from Cheshire fire and rescue service who have been required to attend a informal attendance meeting with HR and line manager for hitting the triggers of illnesses as per your procedures/policy have then had to progress to a discipline (stage 1) procedure for attendance.

I would also like an exact definition for the triggers of illness that would be hit for such a meeting to take place as per your policy.

I would like the time frame of the last three years please and for operational staff only please.
