The following caveats apply to the data provided:

All primary fires have been provided where the property category has been recorded on the incident report as ‘Dwelling’
Grid references have been provided but the last three digits of the Easting and Northing have been changed to ‘000’
Data has been provided from 2023 and 2024 as these years are complete datasets which have been validated and sent to the Home Office
Injury and fatality totals include all casualties recorded on the incident report and not just fire related injuries and fatalities
