Question Asked:

Please could you supply me details of incidents that the fire service have attended in 2025 with the following information

  • Date and Time of Call

  • Appliances Attended (With the name of the station it came from)

  • Specialist Vehicles (HVP, EPU, etc.)

  • End Time (stood down)

  • Stations Ground

  • Number of Personnel

  • Type of Incident (Can you provide more info on what the incident is?)

  • Incident Location (Place/Town/County)

  • Premises Type

  • Outcome (Primary/Secondary)

  • What Equipment was used at the incidents

  • Number of Equipment that was used


Our Response:

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have recently conducted an end-to-end review of our Freedom of Information processes and procedures. As part of this work, we also reviewed our Publication Scheme, this identified that there was a public interest in incidents that Fire and Rescue Services attended.

We have therefore decided that we will now include this information in our Publication Scheme on an annual basis, once the data has been collated and finalised. This work is currently ongoing.

Therefore we are applying a Section 22 exemption to this request as it will be available shortly on our intranet once all the data has been collected and collated.

Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act requires that I provide advice and assistance I have therefore included a link to the ICO website which explains Exemption 22:
